Mr Andy Addis, 3rd Dan originally began his training at Newent under the guidance of WMST head instructor Mr Kalcutt. Mr Addis progressed through the grades with outstanding marks, often showing a greater knowledge and ability in the training and physical side of Tae Kwon-Do. During this time, Mr Addis has also looked into the self defence and grappling (ground fighting) side of Tae Kwon-Do in more depth. And often holds extra training for those students wish to learn advanced techniques in personal protection. Helping out with teaching at a number of different WMST clubs, it was only natural for Mr Addis to progress into teaching and became the instructor of the Ross-on-Wye club on gaining his 3rd Dan. Over the years Mr Addis has participated in a wide range of tournament, events and seminars to further his knowledge in Martial Arts (not just in Tae Kwon-Do) and to gain first hand experience in tournament as a participant and as a referee. Mr Addis is MADEC licensed and fully CRB checked. |
